STORY
Railrest is a company that provides on-board services to passengers travelling on Eurostar trains. Railrest is present on board in the Premium class as well in the Eurostar Bar.
The company also manages the Eurostar Lounge and the Eurostar Information Kiosk at Brussels South Station.
Railrest’s primary philosophy is to focus on customer service. Customer satisfaction is our main ambition and we do everything possible to achieve the excellence to which our customers are entitled. That is why we train and empower our staff to use their experience to provide the best possible service to passengers.
2002
Railrest starts on-board services for Comfort 1 passengers and offers a buffet bar for Comfort 2 passengers on all Thalys trains between Paris, Cologne, Amsterdam and Marne-La-Vallée
2004
Railrest gets contract to manage the Thalys Lounge in Brussels-Midi
2007
Railrest signs the « Diversity-Because differences passed » charter and confirms its commitment to equal opportunities in employment
2008
Railrest awarded « smiley » badge for food safety management system
2010
Railrest is a member of the FOOD programme and part of the EU-FOOD network
